Women rights is a subject that has been neglected in today's world. It seems that some people forget that women are also human. We are all entitled to human rights. These include the rights to live free from violence and discrimination; to enjoy the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; to be educated; to own property; to vote, and to earn an equal wage. But across the globe, many women and girls still face discrimination based on sex. Gender inequality underpins many problems which disproportionately affect women and girls, such as lower pay, lack of access to education, inadequate healthcare, and domestic and sexual violence. In the ISOWR blog you will experience not only the personal views of our volunteers but also regular update about gender discrimination through several new articles in order to raise awareness on that matter.
